Pruning and Cleanup

Removal of any leftover annuals such as
Marigolds, Petunias, etc.
Ø
Cutting back perennials such as
Coreopsis, Daylilies, Mums, Hosta, etc.
Ø
Cutting back all grasses such as
Miscanthus, Pennisetum and if needed, Liriope.
Ø
Removal of winter dieback from evergreen
shrubs such as Arborvitae, Pieris, etc.
Ø
Pruning summer blooming or winter
interest shrubs such as Butterfly Bush, Red Twig
Dogwood,
Winterberry Holly, etc.
Ø
Rejuvenation pruning or severe cutback of
shrubs such as Burning Bush (if needed).
Ø
Inspection of shrubs and small trees and
removal of any winter damaged branches.

Inspection of all trees for winter damage
such as broken limbs caused by snow or ice.
